UPSC invites application on prescribed forms by 31/03/2011 (07/04/2011 for the candidates from far flung areas) for various posts in various Government of India Ministries and Departments in the prescribed format. The posts are:

Deputy Director (Mechanical): 01 post in Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises

Qualification: A- i) Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute or equivalent ; and ii) Five years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity in a technical Organization / Industrial concern in production of light engineering stores. OR B- i) Master of Engineering / Master of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute or equivalent; and ii) Three years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity in a technical Organization / Industrial unit engaged in production of light engineering stores.

Assistant Director (Grade-I) (Electronics) : 04 posts in  Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises

Qualification: A. Degree in Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent. B. Three years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a technical or industrial concern in the development and production of electronic components, equipment and instruments.

Deputy Director (Export Promotion) :  03 posts in Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises

Qualification: Master’s degree in Economics or Commerce with specialization in Business Administration / Export Promotion from a recognized University / Institution or equivalent. B. Five years’ experience in a managerial capacity in Government / Industrial / Business concern in the field of Export Promotion.

Junior Scientific Officer: 04 posts in Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence 

Qualification: i) Master’s degree in Physics with Electronics as a subject or degree in Telecommunication Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Two years’ experience in Manufacture / Inspection / Development / Maintenance of Electrical / or Electronics Instruments. OR B- i) Master’s degree in Physics or Chemistry with specialization in spectrography of a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Two years’ experience in Analysis of Metals and Alloys by Spectrographs OR C - i) Master’s degree in Physics / Chemistry or degree in Mechanical Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Two years’ experience in instruments Test Laboratory, Research / Design and Development / Inspection.

Last Date: 31.03.2011(07.04.2011 for the candidate from abroad/remote areas).

Fee payable is Rs.50/- in the shape of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. (Fee exempted for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women candidates)
