SJVN LIMITED, A ‘Mini Ratna’ Schedule ‘A’ Public Sector Undertaking after successful

commissioning of 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station in Himachal Pradesh is emerging

as a multi project company with following Hydro Power Projects allocated to it for development,

operation and maintenance: 412 MW at Rampur, 775MW at Luhri, 66 MW at Dhaulasidh, 363

MW in Uttrakhand and 900 MW Arun-III in Nepal. The Company invites applications from the

eligible candidates for the following positions:-

Posts:

Electrician(Trainee) /W3:08, Qualification: ITI(Electrician) ,Age-30 years

Steno Typist(Trainee) /W3:15,Qualification:Degree in any discipline from recognized University with Certificate/ Diploma in Stenography from recognized Institute. The candidate should have Shorthand/ Typing Speed of 80/40 wpm in English and 80/30 wpm in Hindi.**,Age-29 years*

Pay- Rs. 5000-@3%-9580/-(Due for upward revision w.e.f.01.01.2007)

Note: * Candidates who have been engaged in SJVN as contract labour will be allowed age

relaxation to the extent of the period he/she has worked in SJVN.

** In case a candidate passes one of the proficiency test (Hindi or English) and fails in the

other proficiency test (Hindi or English) and is selected on the overall performance he/she

will be appointed provisionally subject to achieving the required proficiency during the

period of training, failing which his/her services are liable to be terminated.
