The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued notification for conducting the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination on 12-06-2011 for entry into about 880 posts of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and other Group A and Group B Central Services.
Qualifications: Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent.
Age: 21 – 30 years as on 01-08-2011.
Number of attempts: 4 (Four). OBC/Physically Handicapped: 7(Seven) SC/ST: unlimited
Application Fee: Rs 100 for Offline application and Rs 50 for Online Application. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women

2. Offline: Common Application of UPSC can be purchased from designated Post Offices for Rs 30 or Published in the Employment News in the notification and send it to controller of Examination, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110 069
